Disney's Hollywood Studios
At Disney's Hollywood Studios, plunge into the haunted history of the Hollywood Tower Hotel. From its time-frozen lobby to the unique Fifth Dimension scene, this tower redefines immersion and fear.
Located at the end of Sunset Boulevard, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is much more than a simple drop tower. It is a narrative masterpiece that transports guests to Hollywood 1939, on a stormy night when five passengers mysteriously vanished in an elevator struck by lightning.
The Florida version is unique in the world: it is the only one where the cabs physically leave the elevator shaft to travel horizontally through the 'Fifth Dimension,' creating a surreal transition before the final plunge.

The Narrative
The story begins at the Hollywood Tower Hotel, the meeting place for Hollywood's elite. On October 31, 1939, a violent storm struck the hotel, and five people vanished when lightning hit the elevator.
Since that day, the hotel has remained abandoned, but the hallways still seem inhabited by those who stepped through the doorway of the Twilight Zone.

Its 199-foot height is no accident: at 200 feet, the FAA requires a flashing red aircraft beacon, which would have ruined the 1930s theme.
